Premium Blank Keystone Patch Panel 24-Port 19 Inch 1U

This blank 24-port keystone patch panel is used for terminating data links in a standard 19-inch patch cabinet, network cabinet or server cabinet.

You terminate each installation cable on a matching keystone and snap it into the patch panel. The keystones are not included, so you choose the category and shielding that suit the installation yourself.

The metal patch panel has an earthing connection for use within shielded cabling systems. Unshielded keystones can also be used.

The patch panel is suitable for the Grayle keystones listed below in Cat6 and Cat6A/7A. Grayle Cat5e keystones do not fit in this patch panel.

Applications

Suitable for mounting on standard 19-inch rack profiles in patch cabinets, network cabinets and server cabinets.

Use the patch panel for new installations, for extending an existing patch field, or for installations where not all 24 connections are needed straight away.

Because you choose the keystones separately, the same patch panel can be used for different compatible Cat6 and Cat6A/7A versions and for both shielded and unshielded cabling.

Please note regarding cable diameter: the cable clips at the rear are suitable for round installation cables with an outer diameter of 5.5 to 7.5 mm. With thicker installation cables, check beforehand whether they fit in the cable clips.

Also allow enough space behind the patch panel for the keystone, the installation cable and the required bend radius.

When a shielded cabling system is used, the patch panel must be earthed according to the requirements of the system applied.

Cat5e: Grayle Cat5e keystones are not compatible with this patch panel.

The Cat6 keystone ZN500KS111145 does not fit in this patch panel either.

You use a keystone coupler when you want to connect two terminated RJ45 links directly to each other, without terminating an installation cable on a keystone.

Unused keystone positions can be closed off with the Grayle keystone blanking plate ZN500KS000005.

Optional fibre through-connect

A free keystone position can also be used for an LC duplex fibre through-connect.

To do this, fit the Grayle LC duplex keystone holder ZSAD09092002 in the patch panel. All Grayle LC duplex adapters fit in this holder.

This lets you route one or more fibre links through the same patch panel alongside the copper connections.

Please note: the patch panel has no provision for splicing or storing fibre. For terminating spliced fibre links, use a fibre patch panel with splice provision.
