Grayle PoE network tester – wiremap, length, PoE test

Four checks in one tester

After terminating a cable, the Grayle PoE network tester shows you whether it's wired correctly, how long it is, whether PoE is present and which switch port it ends at. Suitable for Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A. Connect the tester and the separate remote unit to the RJ45 ports and read the result on the 2.4-inch colour screen.

What you measure

• Wiremap: see per conductor whether the cable is terminated correctly.
• Cable length: measure length from 5 to 100 metres.
• PoE test: measure PoE voltage from 5 to 60 V, for PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt), with PoE supply up to 80 W.
• Port flash: makes the switch-port LED blink, so you find the right port in a full patch cabinet.

Made for the job

• Built-in protection up to 60 V, for use on live PoE ports.
• Rechargeable battery (3.7 V, 1500 mAh) via USB-C.
• Switches itself off after 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
• Tester, remote unit, test lead with crocodile clips and USB-C charging cable together in one zip storage case.

Good to know: this is a tester for on-site checks and troubleshooting, not a certification meter. For a permanent-link handover report, use a certifying meter.
