Fiber Optic Media Converter SFP-slot PoE-PSE - RJ45

Technical features

The converter has one RJ45 port and one SFP slot for the fiber link. On the fiber side, the distance depends on the SFP module: up to 550 m with multimode modules, up to 120 km with single-mode modules and up to 100 km with BiDi modules (BiDirectional — modules that send traffic in both directions over a single strand of fiber, rather than using two separate strands). The converter meets the Ethernet specifications IEEE 802.3i, 802.3u, 802.3ab and 802.3z, with flow control to IEEE 802.3x. The unit itself uses less than 3 W (separate from the PoE power passed through) and works reliably between 0 and +50 °C. LEDs clearly indicate power and network activity.
