This lc lc single mode fiber patch cable is built around G.652D glass, the worldwide standard for single mode performance (single mode means light travels in a narrow, straight path, which works well for longer distances).
Insertion loss — the small amount of signal that's lost as light moves through the cable — stays low, around 0.20 dB typical.
Return loss, which is the bit of light that bounces back instead of moving forward, sits above 50 dB, giving you a clean and stable connection.
On the outside, the LSZH jacket handles fire safety, while inside a 2 core armoured cable build with a metal layer protects the fibres. This lc optical cable works reliably from -20°C up to +70°C and meets RoHS, REACH and IEC60332-1.
