The cable has eight copper wires that together form four pairs. Each pair is twisted around itself, which blocks interference, so your connection stays stable.

The wires are solid copper with a thickness of AWG23 (0.566 mm), giving you a reliable 10 Gigabit signal. Around them sits a double plastic sheath with an outer diameter of about 7.5 mm, in grey.

The sheath is LSZH material: in case of fire it releases little smoke and no corrosive acid, which is safer inside buildings. The cable falls under fire class Dca (s2 d2 a1).

During installation you can apply up to 110 N (around 11 kg) of pulling force without damaging the cable. The nominal voltage is 300 V. Category 6A per IEC.
